That storm really blew up over this area. Impressive. No wind to speak of but lots of thunder/lightning

A rogue storm popped and stalled today and dropped 2-3” of rain around Shelton Orange and Derby this evening
Can confirm lol. Saw this guy in my driveway presumably hunting chipmunks after it stopped raining, so that was kinda cool.

Kinda fascinating. Only cell in SNE and it’s just sitting there. Maybe on a seabreeze boundary?
That would be my guess. All I know is that it’s still raining heavily here. What a nuisance lol

Ha I saw that, how unlucky
Definitely going to see some flooding if this doesn’t start moving soon.

Can’t wait for this entire thing to dissipate before reaching me. Not even looking for storms I just want some rain so I don’t have to water the plants lol

Ya this sucks worse than the heat honestly lol. Feels like April out there.

Spent most of my day in the Berkshires on my way back home. Was cloudy the entire time, so temps didn’t get out of the low 80s. Still humid though. Got home and finally caved in and turned on the central air for the first time this year
. Sure feels like the first true day of summer though.

Models seem to be hinting at a sea breeze of sorts pushing through Monday? Thereby limiting the high end heat. Tuesday is pure heat though lol

Enjoy! One of my favorite places. Doesn't look like you'll get a thunderstorm today. That's a rarity.
First time here ,only up here because my wife is competing in equestrian. But it really is a nice place! Plenty of restaurants downtown but also lots of hiking, lakes & nature close by. Enjoying it a little more than Lake George and Lake Placid honestly but also not as far of a trip.

In Saratoga until Sunday - quite nice up here, 75F but a bit breezy. Just looked ahead and Tuesday looks downright hot even back home on the coast. Woof. The central air finally goes on I suppose.

The weekend looks mainly dry in SNE. Models really backing off on anything
Still cloudy Saturday though. Guess it’s fine given how low our expectations have gotten after the past month of weekends.

After three days of crap weather it is absolutely stunning right now out here on block island. But go figure it’s the day I’m leaving

Hard to believe yesterday was nicer than today . Was not on anyone’s bingo card
Ya at least there was sun between the semi often pop up clouds/rain showers. Today is just flat out cloudy. Pattern blows.

That’s been one saving grace of the rains. It has knocked down a ton of pollen.
pine is looming thoughI got absolutely destroyed by allergies yesterday after doing yard work for most of the day. Rain didn’t sweep out all the pollen apparently lol

Pick up a tenth of an inch from that storm. But ya I wouldn’t mind more either , the grass in my front yard is getting rather brown
