As long as it's gone by Sunday afternoon.

Getting some thunder here. Heaviest rain of the day too.
-
Been sitting just on the edge of the rain band for what seems like hours now. Which is fine by me lol
-
Stamford area looks like it’s gonna get smoked these next few hours.

yeah worst over by 3-4am just some leftover stuff after that
Newest 3k NAM lines up really well with radar. Looks like the worst will be around NYC/Westchester County/SWCT

0Z HRRR definitely a step down from 18z in regards to total precip.
-
3k NAM cuts back a lot. Heavy stuff stays south/offshore. Congrats to the 29 inches out in the ocean though.

My anxiety is through the roof. Gonna be away for the weekend and don't want to come home to a wet basement. Even though we had french drains put in back in May, I'm still nervous about water finding it's way in through other small cracks in the foundation.
Same. Bought some sandbags already to put on the north side of the house as rain tends to sit against my foundation there. Preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.

This doesn’t look great.

Looks like endless sun and highs near 80 if the GFS is right after Saturday.

Looks like a heavy rainband is about to reach Nantucket. Will see how far that makes it.

Ah yes the legendary JMA/SPIRE combo. Right up there with the old EURO/UKIE.

Yes it has I agree…but the 18z run a few hrs ago was a marked change…and everything else has followed since…that’s more what I meant, which was kind of like the Euro of old a bit. But as you stated, we’ll hold off on the accolades for a while lol.
Lol exactly. Would be great for the EURO to be the king again one day though.

Euro gaining some credit back maybe…be nice to see.
Euro had this thing curving out to sea for days back in the beginning and only had a couple runs that brought his thing near the cape. Wouldn’t go that far yet. It’s had the largest model swings of all the big models so far lol.

The SW tics are probably not done yet…ridging getting more pronounced now…
Maybe but we have seen over corrections and late ticks east before. My gut tells me this ends up pretty much right where it’s modeled right now.
