U aint lyin brutha. Current cloudy at my house. Not home but id guess only a couple inches has fallen if that based on porch cam. Looks like dry air eating away at the precip on the NE flank. Real bummer considering what could've been. Definitly ready for summer.
About 4-4.5” around stoney creek

You ever notice whenever he’s in a conversation with somebody, debate argument…whatever. Or to just troll Josh. He’s always Florida pound he’s always going “somewhere else”

Im actually a florida snowbird now. Perhaps getting out of that shitty climate once in awhile will make you a happier person. Nobody saw over 5 in yesterdays clipper, let alone 6-7 as you said. Just calling it like i see it. Nobody calls out joshs turd polishing so i do it. If he did it less i wouldnt need to troll him so often. Same with joes bullying. I wasnt up north last year so perhaps I missed this big dog alek is talking about, but my guess was it for the chicago region and it weakened as it approached dtw. Just the way it is mostly as dtw is often stuck in the transfer energy to the east coast zone. Other than that, nobody can deny the trend for storms to weaken as they head east the past 3-4 winters. Havent had a ghd type, nw trender is awhile. Not sure why I need to take a seat for calling it like i see it. Anyhoo y'all enjoy your useless cold and dry.
So last 5 years, dtw is averaging less than 1 storm a yr that drops 9". Thats terrible. Thats gotta be below almost all other areas in the region.
You’re ridiculous

Yea i dont buy any of that. Nobody got more than 2-4 yesterday. Maybe a isolated 5 in the higher oakland terrain.
You’re an idiot
is this your first day tracking weather? Have you not figured out how clippers work. There’s always an isolated area that always over achieves. It’s called banding. All you do is come in here and troll Josh all day. Get out of your little Clinton Township bubble and come north a little bit and see for yourself.

Its a typical clipper that dried up as it approached dtw. Dont need the radar to know what happened.
Near 6” around here. Some spots in Rochester had close to 7”.

Oh, we're here, but we've been posting in the Upstate New York subforum for this storm...given the storm didn't really impact Michigan and Illinois.
Has anyone heard from snowstormcanuck? I would have thought he'd have been right on top of this storm!
In the last 3-4 years. I haven’t been on much but I have noticed very few Michigan and Ontario posters. It has Turned into western lakes (Chicagoland) circle jerk. And no. I have not seen him in a very long time. Last time I heard of him he lived in Edmonton.

Lol I wouldnt go that far when we are not even at midwinter. Its been a while since we've had one of the old "cold and dry" winters. The 1980s were not bad they just didnt have a lot of big storms (of course I don't remember, I'm just going from data). The 2nd half of the 1990s were blah city with the king of screwzone winters being 1995-96. 95-96 saw tons of snow in all directions avoid the ORD-DTW corridor. Since then we have many times jackpotted but I have never seen a screw zone like that. That said, this winter doesn't compare to that. One week of seeing systems avoid us in what has been a frustrating Winter for almost everyone is a far cry from months of being avoided in all directions, watching everyone else have a great Winter, until our surprise Mar 20, 1996 snowstorm.
It wasn’t just those 2 years. It was 90/91, 88/89 and 94/95

We have not had a winter like this in decades in SEMI. This was normal in the 80’s and 90’s. luck has ran out
