    I know there are comparisons to Nov 2014. I was in the heart of that one in South Buffalo and Lackawanna. But I’m thinking Nov 2022 is the winner. The sure volume of snow in 24 hours and the thunder and lightning is too impressive not to give it the winner. .

    I’m going to SYR Sunday and thought about taking a side trip to BUF. But I can’t risk getting stranded. .

    If they play the game. When I was up there for the 2014 Lake Event, almost every road was shutdown. Only reason we were able to travel the roads is because we had high visibility vests and the cops thought we were there to help dig people out. .

    Yeah, especially when those snow bands extend far northeast. You can get locked in. .

    That BUF lake effect event towards the end of the week looks to be a good one. I was up there for the Nov. 2014. What an event to witness. Very similar look but with record warm lake temperatures. The thundersnow was good in the 2014 event but will be off the chain with this event. .
