* WHAT...Heavy snow, possibly changing to light freezing rain or
freezing drizzle along the Interstate 95 corridor toward
morning. Total snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches and ice
accumulations of a light glaze.
* WHERE...Portions of central Maryland, The District of Columbia
and northern Virginia.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Tuesday.
It definitely feels like an overperformer for the metro. I was just outside and could hear some of the neighborhood kids sledding/having fun outside. Really awesome.
Roads are definitely slick - truck just got stuck going up our street.
Approaching 3”. Just took our 16 year old Scottie out on the front lawn since she loves snow as much as me. Given her age, we try to cherish all the moments like this. Hope everyone is enjoying this as much as us.
A terrific jebwalk, only slipped once on the hills. So many kids out playing in the snow which was nice to see - they weren’t concerned about the 18z Hrrrrrrrr, back edge, rates, or ratios. Just out enjoying it. Just like this forum does….
