Still getting random flakes on Beech. Temp down to 9.7.  Brrrrr

Just over 3 inches at 4650 in Beech.  Still snowing and 18 currently.  Put together a 4 hour time lapse of the snow moving in.

At least 2.5 inches here at 4650 on Beech and still coming down good.

Pouring snow here at 4650 on Beech.  About 1.5 inches so far.  Temp is 29.

Gotta love it.  Just like @Buckethead getting light snow at 17.7 and have some rime ice on the icicles.

It's been just over a year now and absolutely love it.  My son and I love to also hit Beech in the summer and ride their bike park and we can literally bike over there in just a few miles.  Life long dream finally happening. 

If we drive non-stop its 415 but we always have to hit Starbucks.

Bout 4.5 hours I think. I'm from the same area I just transplanted full time to Boone ha.

My wife and I say we will be here full time...one day.  We still have a kid in the house (17 years old) so the possibility will open up sooner vs later.

I'm about 40 percent up here.  Right now I'm in GA where it's nice and sunny and dry.  LOL.  I'm getting my snow fix through my webcams right now.  I was up there last weekend to feel the minus 3 though.

Still snowing pretty good with nothing on radar.  About 1.5 inches so far.  Temp is 23.5.  Overperforming for sure.

Pouring snow here at 4650 on Beech.  Already a dusting.

About an inch here on Beech.  Temp is 21 and falling.  Will be pushing zero tonight.

We've had some house shakers out of the SW in the last hour. Weird hearing the wind coming from down the hill rather than up.

LOL...not only is the wind ripping out of the east but it's also climbing the elevation so in these types of events I almost literally record no rain in my tipping bucket due to it's poor wind protection and cone design.  .10" today.  Yeah right...  High gust so far is now 52mph

Steady snow here at 4650 on Beech.  Probably a fresh half inch or so.  

Steady freezing rain and 30.9 here at 4650 on Beech.  

Solid steady freezing rain at 4650 on Beech.  Half inch of snow this morning is just about gone.  Temp is 30. 

Flurries here on Beech also

Small return on radar directly overhead is coming down pretty good.  Solid dusting but temp is still above freezing.  Looking forward to all that stuff back in TN coming though later tonight.

Wind is absolutely ripping up here at 4650 on Beech.  Gusting to 40+ out of the east.  Looking forward to an inch or so of snow tonight starting around 4am and lasting only 4-5 hours.

White Christmas on Beech.  Wish I was there...
