I'm trying to figure out a realistic timeframe for rebuilding it with full force of federal and state behind it. Can't be under 2 years I would think?
Hopefully you're right because we drive across that bridge every freaking day twice and I guarantee you there's going to be a crap ton of car accidents due to people not familiar with taking another route the big trucks are going to be out there again cuz they can't go through the tunnel it's really going to be horrible

Those velocities have increased quickly as this line moves through DC/Baltimore and moves toward the Bay.
It was rather lackluster Bayside. But I'm not complaining

Nothing severe with the storm just rolled through but it seemed the strongest went to the northeast of me. A lot of thunder with that cell though. 0.01 in the gauge.
This storm over on the other side of the river from you has stalled right here it looks like it's going to lighten up a little bit and move on and then out of nowhere The wind kicks up again with more rain and lightning strikes

Been having a good constant rumble of thunder here for the past 20-30 minutes, but no rain.
Non-stop torrential rain with hail for about 5 minutes and non-stop lightning strikes

Low visibility with the smoke. Can’t even see across the Patapsco River. Burning odor too.
Sam on the other side of the patapsco River. Although it looks like it's trying to thin out

Just another weed I will learn to love I guess lol. I am good with moss and clover- good groundcover since the grass never lasts past the solstice. I have an innate hatred for dandelions though.
I'd happily trade your dandelions if you would take my Virginia creeper

Wind gust at home 49 mph. Kind of surprised didn't think our weather station would ever get higher than 45 mph.

Well if I could would post the photos I just took of a devolving storm over here. I have issues with getting the image size small enough so if anyone knows how to downsize a photo taken with IPhone let me know.
Try taking a screenshot of the photo

Storm impacting Baltimore is SVR warned, for some reason.
I was outside watching all the eagles flying around in the wind and then I heard the front coming in was pretty loud, one little bit of thunder and then it roared through here at 40 mph

This wind is not messing around we just got a 47 mph wind gust. Had to run outside and save the grill cover from blowing away. Bungee cords will take care of that problem!
-
Bayside started with ice pellets hitting the windows followed by 40 mph wind gusts and flurries mixing in. Our crepe myrtles are taking a beating from the wind. Current wind 33 miles per hour 33° wind chill 18. And rolling White Caps in the creek.

yay more rain. Absolutely pouring buckets here, being fed directly from the ocean.

(1/2) The Maryland Department of Emergency Management continues to monitor Hurricane Ian closely. The situation is fast-moving and continues to develop so please remain vigilant. Ian will bring periods of light to moderate rain Friday night through Sunday as well as the risk of inland flooding and flash flooding. Periods of gale-force winds are possible at times through Monday, mainly for ocean beaches and south of Drum Point/Cobb Point MD on the Chesapeake/Potomac.
(2/2) Flash flooding can be quick and dangerous. If you receive a flood watch, warning, or suspect flooding is happening, immediately head to higher ground.Create or update your family's emergency kit with non-perishable food, water, flashlights, batteries, and medical supplies. Learn more about kits here: bit.ly/-kits. Keep tuned to your local news and weather and continue to monitor Hurricane Ian. #MdReady.

Oh the memories. Wondering if my building was gonna fall down. Wondering if everyone was ok. Wondering wtf that really was.
Phones not working and the lawn chair. Need another.
I missed the picture of the two lawn chairs that are falling over

Hope no one was out on the water. Went from calm to uh-oh in maybe five minutes.
