  1. Snow in Columbia. 34 degrees.
  2. Just saw some flakes in Columbia.
  3. Overcast in Columbia.37 degrees.
  4. It's a snow gap, not a snow hole. I'm not impressed.
  5. I’ve seen some UK weenie sites and the amount of whining and complaining they do puts us to shame.
  6. I think if this had happened overnight we could have picked up 3 or so inches here. But once daylight hit we were done.
  7. Yeah, after the initial burst here in Columbia, it just hasn't really been accumulating. We're stuck at maybe an inch.
  8. FWIW, the HRRR absolutely nailed this event last night in Upstate South Carolina. 2-6" north of I-85. Caught GSP completely off guard. It looks like they'll outperform us.
  9. Just light snow now, and these flakes look like they really wish they were raindrops. Maybe this next band can liven things up.
  10. Rates have slackened off now. Some nice snow this morning, but this one will be an underperformer (yet again).
  11. Huge flakes now in this band. Very pretty.
  12. Looks like we're just east of the good band, but we're approaching an inch now.
  13. Side roads are caving and still snowing good. 32 degrees.
  14. Sidewalks caving. It’s beautiful out here.
  15. Nice. Looks like you've got one more burst coming before it shuts off. Not a bad storm considering the forecast was for zero.
  16. Looks like the sleet line has retreated back to I-85 and there's another good batch of echoes incoming.
  17. So awesome to see a surprise snow in the Upstate. I know there's some kids out there enjoying this, and that this might inspire them to become a meteorologist one day. I know that because in the 1980s growing up in Clemson, I was one of those kids!
  18. Great pic from Clemson! Sorry it's not snowing in Simpsonville. It almost literally appears that I-85 is the dividing line.
  19. I wonder when GSP will update their forecast lol
