    It is still too soon to tell. The 3 major reporting stations are roughly 1 sizeable event away from climo. We have roughly 5 weeks left to achieve AN near the airports. No one on this board knows how it’ll play out.

    That window around the 24th is looking great for tanning, mulching, lawn mowing and early spring fishing.

    Biked 28 miles outside in February with shoe covers. Win. Also saw the first blooming daffodils of the season.

    Feel awful for the ski areas. Places like Canaan got off to a nice start, hit 100” on the season and it went down the drain after the mid January snow. They’ve received 4.9” in the last 3 weeks with way above normal temps during peak ski season.

    Agreed on PD weekend. Way too early to give up on that when all the major globals have a storm SE of the area. It’s not far off from impacting the area w some form of precip.

    Crappy surface temps + midday usually doesn’t work too well unless you’re far N/W of the cities. I’d feel better about our chances if this was coming in overnight.
