  1. Backbone broke to me means like more fall weather. I don’t see that.
  2. Nah we had plenty of warm and humid days. But as the month gets closer to end and ridging doesn’t appear, (notice I said deep summer) appears to be done. Maybe it returns for Septdewmber.
  3. It’s over. Continued troughing. They’ll be some warm days, but deep summer is done.
  4. May have to watch for a sunrise surprise along the south coast of New England early tomorrow.
  5. Absolutely pouring. Not much thunder. He definitely missed a good one Some rotation too. Tons of ltg to your north.
  6. Ginxy closing up his pool and draining water out for ice up.
  7. Nah I mentioned the 12th, but definitely more troughing than expected. Plenty more days of SWASS enroute though.
  8. Might have been from downburst just to your east? I’ve seen that too.
  9. Looks like about an inch last week at home while I was gone. Had to water some plants. He’s back. Welcome home Steinitarium.
  10. Honestly have no idea what BOX sees sometimes. They could have take that massive AFD and just said “meh.” Some MUCAPE etc but not seeing anything sexy.
  11. And of course it’s all subjective. There is no right or wrong answer. I get skiing there being a season of memories. Hell maybe it happens for my kids too. We all BS and I do too. It’s probably a regional thing too as I said, I’m biased. I have the ocean a few miles away. I also remember what you said and that the skiing peeps sometimes hang surf side with the waves. I totally love and respect that. I honestly wish I could do that lol. But when I look back and remember the times we had, summer is where it’s at.I have some great shots in big storms with the kids, but they just remember summer. My son is a weenie and he still talks about the big blizzard in Jan 22 and the rocktober storm in 2021 lol. He actually has Phil Swift “now that’s a lot of damage” as his screen saver. Lmao.
