  1. We need Cory. Yeah that was a good WTF moment. Still some of the best, pristine snow growth I've ever seen. It was also a moment where I realized models aren't the best with QPF and to look more at the mid levels.
  2. Closing in on one of the most region wide impactful blizzards that I can recall since '78. Between the 4-5"/hr mothballs falling in CT and the widespread tree damage that IMO has yet to be rivaled across SE MA...this was truly a special event.
  3. Yeah I'd say Sunday into Monday-ish....but I'll sell that for now. A few drunk members skewing it.
  4. I think that is more for the 13th. But it's on real life support. I saw the member distribution.
  5. Pretty sure they had an few obs of ZR at 33-34F too. It's not CSI detective work either. You can clearly see when they go astray. I like 1/4SM FG with a T/Td spread of 3F. But hey, it passes the calibration test. Nothing wrong here.
  6. 29 here with clouds and evaporational cooling off the water. Where's my 40s.
  7. It is cool...it just struck me in a different way.
  8. Winter 22/23 has been reduced to frozen water over rocks. Nothing against you Steve....I just found this hilarious.
  9. Yeah 40s up there probably won't happen.
  10. I don't want to come across as saying it's totally premeditated. I know the disorder is real...helI I know people who have suffered through PPD. It's the one part that made me think, that's all. I am sure what she is suffering from, just put her over the edge.
  11. I could see it getting a little slippery with mixed precip. Probably would not hurt to pre treat.
  12. Here's the one thing I am struggling to wrap my head around. This wasn't someone alone all day by herself, had a real tough day to go along with her PP psychosis and performed these horrific acts. She knew she had 20 minutes to do her rampage, and to commit suicide. So basically she waited until the door shut, went nuts, and the end result was the husband coming home moments after she jumped. I can't help but see some premeditated motive there. That's the part that bothers me. She was well aware of the short time she had, and clearly thought about this. There isn't enough time to go into this crazy state and perform those awful acts, without thinking through some of this. I am well aware and sensitive to mental health and I know she was battling those demons. But this is the one part where I'm struggling here. As a parent, I just feel so devastated.
  13. The calls for SSWs and their impacts makes 98% of mets who talk about it, look like complete fools. STFU if you don't know what you're talking about.
  14. I want to think that Sunday or Monday tries for us. I want to believe lol. But, 2022-2023.
  15. I’d rather you guys keep it. Going up north in less than two weeks.
  16. I saw. Would be fitting to get porked this year for anything we desire lol.
  17. Let’s just focus on the 70F chances after mid month. That’s the only interesting thing I see. Even “up there.”
  18. Talk to me when it gets to 50 MB. And also it looks more like a displacement versus a total split.
  19. I’m no strat guru, but I do like looking at the 50mb temp anomalies from a northern hemi perspective. I’m not a fan of those charts showing graphs/ trends….I need to see the motions for myself. It does look to get disturbed a bit. The 50mb vortex gets pushed into Siberia with a trough extending into the CONUS and eastern US. Sometimes that can result in a split. Note this is only through day 16. Anyways, we’ve seen that already this winter, and nothing it’s also split this winter with little to show for it. Bottom line, nothing exciting imminent.
