  1. I think Dec 08 tops it for me, but Dec 07 a close second. Dec 95 right there too.
  2. I think he said he missed that, yes. Yeah several 12-18 events.
  3. Meh, doesn't move the needle for me. Aside from yesterday in SW CT, what a Limp Bizkit pattern it's been and will continue to be.
  4. I think your last 18+ was Nemo? Luke is talking about post 10-11 overall.
  5. A bigger slap in the face for me was the Cape getting 6-8" of paste in that, while we had maybe 1.5" of slop.
  6. Funny you say that. In 1993 I ran cross country. We had a course down in Dartmouth and my coach said that we had to be careful because there were still some tree dangers with a tornado they had from Hurricane Bob. I was surprised to hear that, but sure enough...tons of trees down in a small area.
  7. Yeah agree. Last few summers have been great and lots of memories with Fam and friends. I'm beginning to dread heading into the cold season which is a new feeling for me, exacerbated by last two winters. I can't do 6 months of autumn anymore. I just can't.
  8. We went to the Cape a couple of weeks later after Bob (anniversary today). I think Labor Day weekend. Many of those locust trees that are along rt 6 currently were broken and snapped. The tree damage was impressive still even after the cleanup. You could tell it was a big blow there.
  9. It will get warm, but nothing unprecedented or anything.
  10. You mean we aren't getting a 95/15 composite?
  11. Definitely a taste of Autumn in the air this week. Hate to admit, and frankly makes me sad...but first shot across the bow.
  12. I looked at the CFS today just before you posted that lol. A little too close to a torch for my liking on the CFS, but I get it.
  13. December could go either way. I know Dec 07 also had a big H5 anomaly even into New England.
  14. I'll pull for you on that one. Lets do it.
  15. Man what a mess. Luke living in the center of meteorological violence in SNE with Tors and flooding.
  16. Well I think it's more about being bad luck ground zone due to warm season low tracks. I think that is just luck driven. However, warmer waters will help enhance the threat by providing the fuel.
  17. I'm not sure if Ernesto had any effect since it was so far east. This was a juicy atmosphere ahead of a trough. Only this time you had a stalled WF with a weak low helping to focus moisture in a narrow area.
  18. You can look at SPC Climatology page to get an idea too. Definitely was juiced yesterday overall.
  19. I think PWATS were about 1.7 to 1-8" or so? OKX was like 1.37" but they were a little east in the drier air. ALB was 1.8". It does look like it was close to 2" in SW CT which is fairly high.
  20. Looks quiet into early September.
  21. Is it me or does that area of CT get prone to heavy rain events. I feel like several 4-7” events have occurred there over last 5 years.
  22. I thought hrrr did well at hinting it. That was my basis really lol. Amazing mesoscale event.
  23. Looks like about .25” here for event.
