  1. Could tickle 60 south of the pike for sure.
  2. Yeah 45 and rain is a good alternative
  3. Maybe Dendrite should move south now that he’s warm blooded. Come to Weymouth. Plenty of ticks for the chickens, no iced in driveways, and a big storm every now and then.
  4. Are you serious? You need to relax and understand the vibe here.
  5. But now I look ahead and anger grows.
  6. I will say I enjoyed this last week a lot. It’s not much snow, but serviceable and finally iced up the ponds.
  7. Are you saying that warm pool helped continue the convective forcing during December? I think we also had a screaming jet from that massive cold outbreak in China.
  8. That PNA spike for the Tippy blizzard looks a little sus to me. Not sure the location is ideal.
  9. I’ll buy it if the boundary is north. Perfectly reasonable.
  10. We’ve also had years of warm summers and falls helping as well. Whether it’s from CC or not, it’s slowed the cooling.
  11. I’m going by the actual buoy temp which are a little above normal. But the fact that it’s taken a while to cool, tells me that the warmth penetrates deeper down into the depths of the ocean. Which is also what I read about the gulf of Maine.
  12. I doubt it. I think it’s more nuances. Just like how this area has seen some absurd totals that aren’t sustainable. I feel like the opposite is true there. You’ll make up ground.
  13. Ocean temps have hurt a bit and terrible antecedent airmasses. It doesn’t have to be Arctic cold by any means. There’s a lot of heat content right now in the gulf of Maine. We’ve had a pretty cold stretch for a week now and SSTs have barely budged. That’s telling.
  14. Aside from a week it’s an F so far.
  15. It’s going to depend how fast that ridge sharpens up out west. To me, it’s not ideal at the moment, but possible.
  16. In Hanover and pounding in this band.
