    There was a lot of woods surrounding that place. Relatively elevated, but sort of a plateau. It’s now a massive area of various types of housing and sports complexes. All that’s left are some decaying runways and the ATC towers.

    Bit of a breeze here off the water. Was dropping into lower 20s now up to 25. Couple of miles away to the south it’s in the teens.

    31.5 for the high. Coolest yet this season.

    Yeah. I suppose the high could retreat or the primary is too strong, but it’s one of the more legit airmasses we’ve seen surrounding a potential event. Thats the thing. It does not need to be 504 thicknesses to snow. A good high to the north and decent antecedent airmass will work.

    I killed the clipper earlier this month by starting her up. Soon as I started the thing up it went to Montreal.

    Yeah, tired of these s/w’s moving into Montreal when everyone is hoping for a coastal.

    It is the second low. But a new s/w embedded in the trough causing cyclogenesis on the 21.

    That second s/w goes to town at hr 180. A little too late, but that’s another player.
