I think Memorial Day Weekend was just the scar that everyone carries. When people think of May 2005...it's sheet rain and beach erosion. I will say, watching your drink vibrate on the coffee table from waves hitting the seawall was pretty cool.

Depends. For you, you've had cold nights and chilly temps in the hills this go around. That May, the coast beared the brunt of the disaster. Looks like Saturday and Sunday are 40s for you.

This has not been the disaster 2005 was on the coast. That was on another level. It's cool but we are getting sun which helps.

Hopefully we can get a few downslope dandy days next week like the gfs guidance shows. Gotta be careful as we are north of the warm front and it only takes some redneck on the Mason-Dixon Line to fart and shove it northward.

Also, the ensembles offer more consistency and I'd rather go by them vs op runs.

I'm not sure I buy any pattern change soon. We'll see what 12z brings. I'm still sticking with th 20th. For now, I'm going to refrain from any pattern change until it gains more traction. We've seen the models knee jerk a lot in the 6-10 day.

Yeah it gets awfully close in Berks. Kind of a race from top down cooling from s/w diving in and strong WAA moving in at like 850. Maybe a narrow area in deformation zone may get it?
