  1. Looks like a good event for the Dacks coming up. Euro seems a little warm for VT. Think the GFS too cold/east again.
  2. Come to the tropics. We thawed and growing.
  3. Ugh..give me the cold nights over those days.
  4. Oh baby...who's excited about the anniversary of 1997!!!!
  5. We all understand Tolland does downslope a bit on N to NE winds. This is a reason why you never see them get the icing and snow amounts that places NE of Tolland get.
  6. Weeklies sort of cancelled Spring too.
  7. Also that is a combo of day and night. If it's maritime flow, night temps warmer....hence that outlook above. Day temps not really shown there.
  8. They'll be some DSD, but overall I see a boundary south and N to NE vectors with precip floating by now and then. Meh.
  9. EPS still looks like poop to me.
  10. Wow what a great event that was. Wish we were there.
  11. 11 years ago, the Sultan of Sandbags was born. Fighting for the rights of the oppressed and unheard voices of SW RI citizens, he made sure their voices were heard. “Remember the Pawcatuck” was the crying chant and the NWS now has recognized the river into its grids for flood warnings. A true hero for the 10 people that live in its watershed.
  12. That was horrible. But nothing beats the 4th of July in 1992. It was 58 during the day with pure ass all day.
  13. As much as the December storm was fun, I feel like the only thing memorable from this winter will be 10/30 snow. I can’t shake the stanky funk of the Grinch Storm. Ruined 12/17 snow.
  14. It is no longer a winter month. Replaced by October.
  15. Might be one of those deals where NW flow aids in cooling 850 and below vs even just east of the spine. Could also tick east some too.
  16. GFS is a disaster in the 11-15 day.
  17. 50kts ORH. Lots of 45kt+ now. ASH, CON etc.
  18. I've known some people that have had it. My sister had a mild case, like a real bad cold. My team member who is a fairly in shape and a skinny guy in his early 40s had to be hospitalized for breathing and dehydration issues. He went by ambulance, mom had to call 911. He was the type to blow it off too. It's amazing how it just has no rhyme or reason to how it hits people it seems.
  19. It's a solid week early it seems. Maybe more. I did compare it to other areas even further south that radiate better and those weren't as far along. Warmer nights help.
  20. I'm seeing Forsythia and Magnolia about to pop. I can't recall it this early other than 2012. All my plants are coming up. Done with winter around here. We grow.
