  1. Winni is about as warm as you'll ever see this early. We AGW.
  2. I've been to Ogunquit, and the water was not bad at all. Warm day as well. The key to any east facing beach like in Maine or even in MA.....a light seabreeze. That way the warmer water stays near the shore and temps are still near 80 or above.
  3. I think so. Could be nasty ones in western New England tomorrow and into VT.
  4. Yeah weekend should be ok outside of tomorrow morning.
  5. It's definitely not totally tropical. May be some separation from the low and mid level centers. And yeah watch tomorrow aftn. Otherwise, Fay is yawn here.
  6. You're right dendy, I may cry for momma with a week of this.
  7. I got up and it was 74. I can't recall a more sultry night at the lake.
  8. It's going to come down to where the center is and maybe if we can get some convection on the east side and not a dry slot. Just doesn't seem that exciting, but one or two of the cells on the east side could rotate.
  9. Sitting on patio with 50F well water pouring on you from hose?
  10. Yeah could be an iso tor...but not an outbreak or anything.
  11. Yeah there is some door potential with the ridge axis just a bit west of optimum delivery. Probably one of these things where for a day or two it's torrid, cool off to 70s coast 80s inland...and then another plume moves in. Looks dam nasty for the Midwest.
  12. I think it will...but as you said..a hot mess for now.
  13. No model will have an idea until it has a center and they assimilate with that center.
  14. Oops, posted about this in the other thread. American vs Europe models (including Ukie) are night and day. There is a naked swirl well to the WSW of the convection, but I wonder if a new one develops? The tropical models also look into NJ...but this isn't exactly a deep tropical system either.
  15. EC/UK and NAM/GFS are very different. EC/UK further east and soaker. NAM/GFS into NJ. There is a naked swirl well to the WSW of the center, but I wonder if a new one pops near the convection.
  16. Steam bath on my run this morning. That was tough.
  17. Gotcha. I don't blame you one bit. I've felt the same as well, but I don't have a choice really. We'll see how this year goes with the in-house and/or remote learning.
