Gloria was decent where I was. Bob was the classic sort of meh NW of the track, except for rains. It hammered the Cape though. But yeah, things have been fairly benign on the tropical front overall in SNE. At least as far as Cat 1s and above go. Irene had a fairly big hydro impact and caused issues on the CT shoreline with cstl flooding.

We've had some decaying strong TS events, but look at the 50s to 1960. Imagine that period. Legit storms too. I don't mean a gust to 55kts at an exposed hurricane barrier.

Last two days were cases below 60 in MA. So for the time being even after opening up we are lower than any point last summer.

Time to warm it up a bit though. Should be a warm one Saturday, especially if we get a decent amount of sun.

Reminds me of a stretch we had in June 2011. I only remember it because of the Stanley cup. Left my friend's place at like 1a with it being 39 on the car thermo.

Couple shots of warmth and dews this weekend and maybe mid week before another COC shot comes. That nuclear ridge out west is keeping the uber heat out there for the time being. I do think as we head into July, aside from climo alone, it will warm.

Yeah I just got some loam and turned the dips and cavities into areas to plant. It was mostly grass before, but nothing grew where it was rocky.

Yep. It’s true. Closer than you think. What did you think of all that development by The Garden? Not sure when you were down here last time, but impressive in that whole area how much they developed.
