  1. Pretty good rains moving into RI and eastern CT. Hopefully it develops more. That’s from the low.
  2. The town apparently leases the beach from a conservation committee. This committee now obviously has an agenda to slowly close off the beach. @amarshallcan correct me. I think some of the sticker money pays for that too?
  3. I envision this area as one of them. I feel like you have a decent shot of the meso low. Hopefully it’s more widespread.
  4. That’s not my forecast. What a salesman.
  5. I think the global ensembles for something starting in 18 hrs is not the way to go.
  6. Here’s the HREF. Can see the meso low influence, but of course where and how it tracks will need to be determined.
  7. I lost a tenth of an inch. Again you don’t use global model ensembles for this.
  8. I don’t forecast with emotion. Someone will get screwed, but some will get soaked, and not just western NE.
  9. I don’t use an ensemble that doesn’t know convection 24 hrs out. And eps didn’t really shift.
  10. It’s a convective model that shifts every run. They’ll be two jacks. Eastern NY and western NE is one of them. Then another probably with meso low. Also SE Ma and especially cape cod will get a second round later tomorrow night. Might be the Cape’s best chance.
  11. They’ll be some good rains in SNE as the low develops and moves overhead. The globals aren’t going to resolve the convective nuances. Not everywhere will get it, but I think many areas get a decent drink.
  12. Euro looks pretty good for tomorrow.
  13. Meanwhile, lowest ACE to date in the ATL in 34 years.
  14. We had dews mid 60s yesterday. As soon as winds go south, that’s gonna grab the moisture off the south coast this time of year. Friday was desert like for sure.
  15. Yeah not too bad, although dews creeped up yesterday and more humid today for sure.
  16. All guidance has a decent widespread signal for rain tomorrow. We hope.
  17. Was a great beach day. That peninsula known as Duxbury beach is a treasure. Stupid plovers threatening to close the whole place down. @amarshall leading the charge to prevent that.
  18. Basically. We lower sunglasses and look at yummy mummies.
  19. I mean cat 1 winds in a October of last year in SE MA took up to 5 days to restore power. Like Will said, imagine EF2 winds from CT river on east.
  20. Absolutely. Can’t even comprehend that lol.
