  1. I don’t know about them, but I know Eversource was prepping for days. Despite that, I think outages were worse than originally thought.
  2. I’ll say the second half tends to be more fun since snow chances increase and Thanksgiving.
  3. Probably better prepared. Also, despite the number of outages, it was in a concentrated area.
  4. Yep. November is depressing enough with dark days and not really snow climo yet. I don’t mind it mild a bit.
  5. It’s all relative to normal so no 70s, but the flow supports AN temps.
  6. Looks pretty mild mid November. Back to Mowvember?
  7. Friends in Duxbury got their power back last night. Things accelerating once the infrastructure was worked on.
  8. Right lol. Imagine that. So the Tblizz of the world.......you have no idea how fortunate you are.
  9. The only year we did not was 11-12 and that was because we whiffed on a deform band haha. At least that was when I was in Dorchester.
  10. ORH went 3 seasons without a 10” storm. 88-89 to 91-92. If I’m not mistaken. It was bad. For years all I heard was “we don’t have winters like we used to.” It made me so angry.
  11. Dude. Lol. How about years of meh with ugly years sprinkled in. I’m not kidding when you jumped for joy when 3-6” was forecasted. You people have no idea. My first 18” plus storm didn’t happen until I was almost 15. Maybe Feb ‘83 was close. You were already getting them when you were a zygote.
  12. Not sure where you are, but I noticed parts of Norwell on 123 were real bad as I went east.
  13. You are so GD lucky you missed the 80s and early 90s. You spoiled SOB.
  14. We had a biggy Veteran’s Day 87. 8-12”. Of all places Plymouth got crushed. It was a frigid airmass.
  15. I remember 86 and 87 well. Schwoegler had me nude on his broadcast the night before 87.
  16. Didn't last winter have an uptick too?
  17. Excellent trough. Definitely some features to play with as you said.
  18. I wanted to take a moment....and thank that poster who first posted the video of Phil Swift "That's a lot of damage." He started an amazing trend that is top in American Weather history. Kudos to you, sir.
  19. Dryslot raining and Tblizz pounding paste. Sure.
