  1. It did take longer and I acknowledge that for sure. We’ll see what 12z does.
  2. This whole conflict. I need to understand it because I barely have time to watch the news. I know this goes back to 2014, but did those two Russian territories in the eastern Ukraine work with Russia to fabricate this genocide lie and give Russia a reason to invade? Just trying to understand the conflict.
  3. I did compare 18z gfs 500 from 6z today. It definitely went north with the shortwave.
  4. I’m just so tired of weenies trying to shove it back into our faces when we try to actually use our experience with these and warn about risks to the warmer side. Euro looks to be too cold right now and has been. NAM still may be aggressive, but honestly it hasn’t had a whole scale change and if anything got warmer at 6z. So that means something, even if it’s too aggressive.
  5. But but but we are done with the warmer ticks. We tried to tell em.
  6. Yeah I thought we may see it earlier, but we are seeing it now and add the Ukie too. Again, when we said earlier today that those solutions were probably too cold, there was a reason why.
  7. Canadian looked minor to me. Seems like it was also less juiced.
  8. The point is, many fell in love with things just keeping going to the south, but as myself and Will as well as others have said, those euro solutions are likely too cold. That’s all. I even said it buys us wiggle room. So yea it does matter in southern areas especially.
  9. Yep exactly. But when everyone scoffed at the tick idea, well this is what we mean. Luckily this wasn’t the gfs adjusting 150 miles NW like it did in 2007-2009 lol.
  10. Yeah these are the ticks. Will matter for southern crowd. Gfs already shaved 3-4” for Taunton. We tried to tell Tblizz.
  11. I would look at 500 and 700 lift and side closer to 500mb. You can use the point and click soundings to help narrow that zone in and find the DGZ. I generally don’t like using 500mb as it starts to get a little high for my liking, but you get the idea. Sometimes the models key in on those areas by showing a band of slightly higher QPF. It may not be much, but that could be a signal for the currier and Ives band.
  12. It wouldn’t shock me if euro ticked warmer but I think we’re settling in now. Sleet probably gets to and north of pike, but not for long. That’s my guess.
  13. Yeah not by much. That was also pretty cold. Still keeps Boston snow. But yeah those ticks are what I was thinking would happen earlier. We’ll see what 00z varsity models do.
