It's very close to the radar site so I'm not sure what to make of this.

12Z 3K NAM has the front rather significantly further north than previous runs. 

It seems like whenever there's a large metro in the high risk area, far too much focus is dedicated to that as apoosed to the overall synoptic setup. Even if the warm front is a bit south of what the HRRR had it depicted, there's still a ton of real estate with extreme severe weather parameters to worry about. Storm mode is still to be determined but overall things will be more pleasant if we don't put as much emphasis on OKC and watch things unfold. 

Looked semi-decent before it was undercut and roped out.

Starting to look a LOT more impressive now. 

It's in a bad radar location but there's a decent couplet east of Crook CO. 

Confirmed Tornado with the aforementioned cell  

The lone cell in southern TX is now tornado warned. 

Decent couplet embedded in that line in far Western MS, I wonder if it briefly produced. 

Strong embedded rotation with this storm but we all know the real reason I'm posting it is because of the town's cool name. 

Confirmed tornado now with that College station cell. Storm mode is obviously messy today but HRRR advertised 0-1 km SRH that was more than supportive of embedded rotation and even has a few more discrete cells later.

Sheriff reported a tornado with some debris with that storm about 30 minutes ago but seems to have occluded shortly thereafter.

I wonder if we will manage to clear out earlier than expected?  That said, there are still storms west of Abilene, one of which is severe, so it doesn't seem like things will clear out.  I believe those storms are the ones that were modeled to form the main MCS, but this complex ahead of them might be problematic as they move eastwards.

My bad, I thought it was from last night's tornado.

The isolated cell north of KFDR is starting to look very impressive on radar. 

These images are breathtaking, there's something eerie about nighttime tornadoes.
