Cars have that mid winter caked salt look from the dust and pollen around here.
I have had about 1" of rain since May 1st, heavy watering of veggies and gardens
Wow 5.63 here since May 1 but dry spell. Rain is south of us this morning.

Just got home from Florida and my house is covered in pollen. I always thought pine pollen was late June. What is the pollen we're seeing now? Don't want to powerwash the deck until its all gone.
Pine just loads of it rolling with each gust of wind.

It's likely this. If it was winter moths they would have eaten the maples as well.
"Beech leaf disease (BLD) affects and kills both native and ornamental beech tree species"
No it was maples too. But beaches were wiped out

Less species diversity in the colder and mountain climates? No idea, just thinking aloud. Or once the ground finally thaws up to a growing temp the sun is very high in the sky and it all explodes? It does happen fast.
Well first its mid April to first week of May, hype aside species diversity is the reason down here.

Pollys is the bomb. Steined this morning. Probably a good thing as we party to 1AM and my decks and pool area were loaded with towels and clothes. All cleaned up hopefully clearing later this morning for BBQ2.

Thanks man. Doing alright. Divorce finalized yesterday. Plan to be around a bit more now that everything is settled
Tough stuff went thru one 22 years ago. Once you understand it's a phase of your life you move on. How old are you?

oof don't like the sound of that.
I will look into something. I just hope it's not something that will worsen over time. The dog turns 10 years old in July and still acts like a puppy. All he wants to do is play. I get nervous because my girlfriend told me his breed only lives to be like 10-12 years old or something. But hoping as long as he is active, remains in good health, and we do the yearly checkups he should be good. I'm even considering doing 6 month checkups now that he is getting older.
Thank you!
Yea it sucks we outlive our pups. Get him on Glucosamine asap. Lots of options for it

oh crap...I have to read your reply.
He's been better these past few weeks. There is certainly still weakness though within his lower back, its evident by the way he moves (especially when he does quick movements) and the back left leg just sticks out differently than the others.
Yea read my reply.

82 for the high. 78/62 now. AC still not installed.
Gorgeous night. Low dews. It is nice to have this steady breeze all day. Hot but very very manageable. Let's swim
