Looks like about 4pm for me with storms today per future radar. They look like they're going to be good rainers too.

I'm at 825ft in the low eastern foothills, and I've had quite a few 90s nearly every summer. I don't torch like Harrisburg and the southeast, but low 90s aren't uncommon in my backyard.

Nope. I still needed a jacket most winter mornings, and occasionally a coat when it dipped below freezing. Most winter mornings in Phoenix are in the low to mid 40s, and the 30s make an appearance several times during Jan and Feb.

Nah. I'm still a warmanista, I'm just not sure of the humidity anymore, but I still love 70 degree mornings. Nothing is going to change that. My perfect place is one where I never need a jacket.

Oh no, that will never happen. After last summer's inferno in Phoenix though, I'm more in tune with 80 than I am with 95.

Next Saturday is my wife's company picnic at Knoebel's. The GFS says it will be about 85 degrees and the Euro says 99 degrees. It's gonna be either pleasant or brutal out there depending on which one might verify.

Atomixwx got it right. The 98 wouldn't bother me if it was dry, but it'll most likely be that mid 60+ dewpoints are going to accompany it. That I'm not looking forward to.

Euro shows a mid afternoon 98 for Tamaqua next Thursday and Friday. Yikes, at least the GFS shows notably cooler. We shall see.

You are consistently 2 degrees cooler than me in the mornings. Low here will be 48.

I had her trained pretty well to use a certain area, but she's so old now, she just goes wherever. After she's gone, I can fix the spots she's killed.

We had about a 5-10 minute cloud burst a half hour ago that dropped another .10" in the gauge.

Thanks! My rain gauge stopped working while I was out there, and I worked on it when I got back and was eager to see if it was going to register. We got all of our rain after I went to bed, but it appears that I did fix the gauge as I got .36" overnight.

Yup. After 32 consecutive days of 115 or higher last summer, my feelings about high heat were slightly altered.

I won't miss that one bit. I like it warm, but that gets quite uncomfortable. Did you look at Thursday's high?

Yeah, I just didn't think to do it. I've got so much going right now with having just moved back to PA.
