As expected... Garden variety rain shower with distant thunder and dark clouds to me southeast, but the game's been postponed.

You guys are experiencing what I get every storm event. Today is no exception here as well. The storm is getting it's act together south/east of me, just like last night's (and many before) action did.

We had peeks of sun today, but it was mostly cloudy. As for the severe watch, I'm on the northern extent of it. That means maybe a "chance" of a thunderSHOWER. Whatever we get will be JUST enough to screw up my grandson's little league game, but not enough to be interesting or noteworthy.

When I lived in Phoenix, sometimes the humidity would be as low as 2%.

As long as it's not the Pine Grove/Tremont area again. Those poor folks need a break from flood events, but it seems like they sit under a geographic "shower head" every time we have a big rain event.

94 with a 80 degree dew point in Lancaster as of the last hourly roundup for a heat index of 113. Unbelievable!

I have a similar phenomenon here where I live in Eastern PA (Tamaqua) to be specific. A solid line of storms can roll across the entire state, as well as all the Appalachian ridgetops, fully intact, until it hits I-81 just to my west. At that point the line will weaken and fall apart and then just to my east will reform and slam the Allentown/Bethlehem area and points beyond. It happens about 90% of the time.

Actually I was at the Bronx Zoo with a company charter today. Believe it or not, it was hotter here than in the Big Apple.

Even up my way in the normally cooler coal region it's 88 already.

Bryant Park looked nice, but we can only drop/pick and run there. We then have to head to the cruise ship area on the west side (between 11th and 12th Ave) to park. As for the storms, per the USGS automated gauge, we got 0.70" yesterday.

Yup. And here I sit in Manhattan in a bus. Brought a group in for a Bryant Park drop off. Not leaving until 6:30pm.

I dropped the group off and then one of the Troegs folks had me back into their loading dock area since they weren't doing any shipping or receiving. Nice place. Had a "gourmet" grilled cheese sandwich that you dipped in tomato sauce. And some kind of organic sugar based cola from up in Maine that was pretty good actually.

I never even knew they existed until I did this private charter today. We did Troegs Brewery and then the winery. I didn't eat at the food trucks because I had a big lunch at the brewery. The trucks were expensive though.

Spending a nice Saturday afternoon at Spring Gate Winery here in the Harrisburg area. Beautiful grounds and buildings. Too bad I'm working and can't enjoy the wine.

I can see already by the radar presentation that I'm going to miss the good stuff once again. I have NEVER hated a place I live in more than this God-forsaking coal cracker shit hole. And for the record, the lack of interesting weather is only part of why I hate it here so much.

Not up here. We've only gotten about a quarter of the rain some have gotten this July. Only 1.6" so far...
