  1. Spending a nice Saturday afternoon at Spring Gate Winery here in the Harrisburg area. Beautiful grounds and buildings. Too bad I'm working and can't enjoy the wine.
  2. I can see already by the radar presentation that I'm going to miss the good stuff once again. I have NEVER hated a place I live in more than this God-forsaking coal cracker shit hole. And for the record, the lack of interesting weather is only part of why I hate it here so much.
  3. Mine too. I got off work and was home before sunset last night, but figured I had this morning yet to get it done, so I waited. I figured wrong...
  4. Not up here. We've only gotten about a quarter of the rain some have gotten this July. Only 1.6" so far...
  5. Line disintegrated into nothingness. What looked good coming in from Bloomsburg turned into a moderate rainshower. I've never lived in a worse location for strong/severe storms than Tamaqua...
  6. And here in Bethlehem with family and the temp is 92...
  7. Got a 20 minute shower that dropped 0.07" here in Tamaqua. For once I'm happy it missed as I was able to watch my grandson's 12 year old little league all star game this evening.
  8. A mid 80's day with a breeze and low humidity makes for a perfect summer day!
  9. Good to know. Thanks guys! To be fair if I didn't have I driving career, I'd like the snow a little more, and since I've had my thyroid removed my already low tolerance for cold has become non existent.
  10. Same could be said for bitter cold, snow, and wind chills. But I digress, I suppose that line of thinking is why I kind of fell out of the favor of a majority of this sub forum as I'm not a cold, winter person.
  11. Window units are great when you live in the city and have to go to bed at 6pm for the next day's work. Drowns out screaming kids, and drunk neighbors quite nicely.
  12. What a beautiful sky just a few minutes ago (3pm) near Lancaster at Dutch Apple Theater. I did not expect it...
  13. In almost total opposition to where the original flood watches were located, which were roughly from I-80 south...lol
  14. Flood watches up for basically all of the CWA south of I-80. What a crazy wet pattern we've had over the past 12 month period. Is it ever going to end, or are we the new Pacific Northwest?
  15. After a windy day today, and a nice day tomorrow, it looks like rain and showers starting Sunday and continuing for the rest of next week. Are we EVER going to get a long term dry spell? I'm so sick of endless cloudy days and showers...
  16. Anymore, any day without rain is a good day and one to savor...since we don't get that many.
  17. If it holds together... 18. NAM 3k looks pretty ominous for central/eastern PA later on if it were to verify verbatim.
  19. And will somehow figure out a way to miss Schuylkill County...
  20. And a whole bunch of nothingness in the Tamaqua/Hazleton area...
  21. 1:00pm and still a solid overcast in South Philly...
  22. If it isn't raining, it's windy AF... I really wish this crazy pattern would change.
  23. Ugh...wish I didn't have to go to NYC tomorrow. I'd have liked to have been closer to home, like the Sands Casino in Bethlehem...
