    Hoo boy, that’s a bit disheartening for us M/D folks. Still hoping the GFS/NAM combo has the right idea—and in a storm like this, I would expect them to be a lot closer than what the Ukie is showing.

    Very weird to see the Euro (which was rock steady for days) make such wide swings in the last 12 hours. Have to think somewhere between the GFS and Euro camps is the sweet spot.

    Just measured 2.7 inches, quite a nice little system. Still light snow falling.

    Officially a slushy inch on the M/D, still moderate snow. Great little surprise.

    Why is it when the long range shows a crappy pattern it always verifies, but if it shows a good pattern it never does? Lol

    Some wicked thunder/lightning on the M/D right now, looks to be sinking SE-ward.

    Try tennis practice, lol. I fed a ball to a kid during a drill and it ended up hitting another kid four places behind him in line. Also, a yard sign flew through the air and nearly impaled me. Yay March.

    Few serious squalls just came through, mulch and roof has caved.

    Crazy wind and snow squall right now just north of Hagerstown. I’d say the front is closing.

    We have definitely gone from 'suck' to 'blow'.

    This may have been the worst two week period ever for modern weather models. Not only did our monster long range completely disappear, they’ve now blown two short range storms this week (albeit, one of those benefited us). Tough to trust them at all anymore.

    LWX going with 3-4 in Washington County, MD. CTP with 1-2 in Franklin. Again, why can’t the offices be on the same page?

    Ended up with just over 3 inches here on the M/D. What a fun, dynamic storm. Mesos seem to have led the way on this one, for the most part. Quite a bust for a bunch of models on the flip side.

    Just over 3 inches here in Greencastle, glad the physics-defying snowhole here never materialized, lol. Stoked to hear about so many doing well with this one, enjoy folks!

    I’m not saying we don’t trend all the way to the Euro, but it’s still on its own with how weak the system is for a lot of us. Basically shows zilch for southern PA. Edit: Ninja’d by AccuChris

    Hard to believe this is looking like a non-event for most of Northern PA and NE, when it looked like a monster for them not 12 hours ago. Models have been a total mess on this one.

    Have to keep laughing at these Franklin County depictions on the 3k, lol. People in the snow hole can walk a block or two to find 2-3 inches of snow.

    Sterling up with WWA’s and WSW’s on the Maryland side. Definitely one of my pet peeves is when they don’t communicate/coordinate, and end up looking stupid.
