  1. Hahaha…you stay as far away as possible from those outlook maps in the winter.
  2. You don’t have to go far back to find back to back 49s to start June at BOS.
  3. I enjoyed the nice weather for about 3 hours until the black flies arrived.
  4. I think he’s worried about his potted plants again. Maybe he needs some drip irrigation so he can go more than 24hrs without stressing over rain.
  5. Couldn’t wait for the house to warm up on its own today so the pellet stove is on.
  6. He has a serious illness. My grass is a foot long and I can’t mow it because it’s been underwater for 3 weeks.
  7. Negaunee and Ishpeming are unreal. We talked about moving there once. lol
  8. It's only growing where I am weeding around my fruit trees and potted plants. Otherwise it's getting bullied about by grass and other weeds. I may just grow clover around the trees to nitrogen fix and prevent other deeper rooting weeds from growing. The sorrel doesn't seem to be too deeply rooted though?
  9. Jackets and blankets inside for the wife and kids. You hate to see it.
  10. I wonder when the next drought map from Stein will be. Maybe the middle of next week?
  11. I'm glad we got more rain this morning to rebuild the water pack.
  12. Damn glad we only got "grazed" with that back here. I don't want to think about a widespread 4-6" right now.
  13. For this spring that would be scattered showers and mid 50s.
  14. I haven’t seen the rivers and streams this high in awhile.
  15. A bunch of different phyllostachys ones…parvifolia, aureosulcata ‘spectabilis’, atrovaginata, nuda, and nigra ‘henon’. I had a pygmy bamboo and a US native river cane as well. I’ve pulled all of them out now except for the spectabilis and parvifolia and I’m going to replace them with hardier, less aggressive clumping fargesia bamboos. I have a rufa now, but I’m going to add murilae and nitida soon.
  16. As I research more maybe it is sheep sorrel. I was hoping it was nitrogen fixing. Guess I’ll have to smother it out.
