    High of 69.5° here. Warm, but nothing special. Couldn’t really get any sun today.

    Yeah I knew that was to me. I was taking the under on Forky’s 80 on Wednesday because of weaker mixing and the cold start in the valleys. I’ll admit I mixed up my words there because I was trying to imply late week looked warmer than the 70s yesterday. Models have had 2m 18z temps late week in the upper 70s for days so 80° was never a shock.

    I’m telling everyone to take the typical political arguments to the OT side of the forum. I don’t even want it in banter here. I was letting the updates go in here last night, but I’d prefer to keep the majority of the other talk off of the weather forums.

    I think a lot of these nuts snap and want to go out with a literal bang knowing that they’re going to get 15 minutes of national/world media fame if their hit count is high enough. There’s been an exponentially growing copycat element since Columbine as well. When you build up enough hate in you to want to end it and/or kill this is the New Year’s fireworks finale version of it.

    Under surface make your own the plotting page is there. Then I just use 6hr range of min or max temps. But you need to make sure your plot time aligns with when they report…00,06,12,18z. edit…looks like the maps aren’t generating properly right now
