  1. NAM is focusing a little more convergence up into C/S NH as well. Maybe we can steal a couple.
  2. Same dude was just tweeting about a dew reading -60s in Santa Monica like it was legit
  3. The first few days were double digit positives. So we’ve been whittling away at that.
  4. Well most runs have shown cutter/swfe looks so they’re hedging against heavy snow here. But the threat for a swfe/redeveloper is there.
  5. Will be interesting to see how warm we get today. We’re really inverted below H85 with NW flow and full sun, albeit a low angle. In March with little snow cover we’d probably mix right through it, but in early Jan it’s a lot more difficult. At peak heating 950 is near -5C at CON and 0C at 900. That is so damn shallow with full sun. lol
  6. 6z rgem has a norlun just offshore of NH and curls it southward briefly over the eastern cape.
  7. He’s already worried about his hibiscus.
  8. CON is AN for Jan through today, but the ponds are deeply solid. It’s been 20/10ish here all week.
  9. Can’t believe the winter of 24-25 is over already. It was a good one.
  10. Another big one blew up NW of Palisades a bit ago.
  11. Drove through it 3-330p. It was mostly blowing off the highway despite low visibility.
  12. Miserable day of persistent -SN and flurries with some sublimational cooling aiding in the gusts and cool temps. A waste of wood pellets. 18.5° with -SHSN
  13. I noticed that. I saw the 850s for tomorrow afternoon and was hopeful for 40s. Alas…will probably be sub freezing again here.
  14. 10.9° at midnight…up to 14° now. I assume we’re losing the CAA despite the continued strong NW flow.
  15. Seems like it’s feeling that northern stream PVA bowling in from our west Sat. Nammy is probably overdone, but maybe we meet somewhere in the middle? RGEM had a hint of an extra “burst” and the sim radars kinda have that norluny look hanging offshore. I’d love a 2” refresher up here before the next shot of cold arrives.
  16. Quite the stretch of 25kt+ gusts at CON
