Not horrible for north Georgia.   Just need slightly cooler uppers and we are in business down here .

Yeah I had 12-18” was hard to tell because of the snow drifts.   Was epic in Marietta.

Bring it.  I was in Mexico on vacation last week through Tuesday this week.   Missed the fun looking to see some devils dandruff fall Thursday.

This is a damn good help for the Arctic Ice Cap. It is a whooping 276km² above the 2011-2019 YTD average, 48k km² behind 2013 for most extend since 2010, and just 155k km² behind the 2001-2010 average for Jan. 31st. Hopefully, if we have a near-or-less than normal melt season we can get a really good TPV lobe for the 2020/2021 winter season.

(And this counts as Long Range)

There is done evidence to support increased wintertime -AO with lack of sea ice in the Kara sea.  Be careful what you wish for

Well to be fair it’s threading the needle but the high to the west northwest of GA isn't in a terrible spot for western areas of the southeast.

22 this AM.   Nice and brisk. Hit 37 today but dropped back quickly to 29 at 6:30pm. 

Beautiful pics.   You guys should see a bit more tonight.

We have Feb and very early March.  No need to throw in the towel yet.  

I’m going to say down to about a 30% chance of measurable snow in Atlanta for 2019-2020 winter.  Just a guess but that’s my thinking. 

Feb isn’t a bad climo month.  

It doesn’t snow in the SE anymore

I had like 3-5”of sleet with a little snow in that storm.   It was a Tony special.

We have to live and die by each mode run because we don’t get snow like you guys do.  I’m super envious of the climate in the southern apps.  NWFS is some good stuff but I get some token flurries while an hour or so north gets painted with snows!
