I played a little league game once back in the 90s when the HI was probably close to 110. Worst experience of my entire life aside from any time I've been tapped in the nuts. A kid passed out. We stopped for five minutes to drink some Gatorade and water and then continued. I thought I was going to pass away. Nowadays they'd probably call the game. *******.

I got a reading of 94°F in Clearfield at 1:00 PM. I've been busy all day. The thermometer on a digital screen to Carns UTV said 101°F, which made me laugh.

The other half had to run an errand with the teenager a little bit ago and stopped at DQ. While they were waiting in line to receive their order, DQ had to reproduce an ice cream cone because it had melted. It feels like the sun has a magnifying glass on top of me.

Woke up to take the pups out at 5:45 and it was disgusting outside. Thank the god for air conditioning.

It's incredible how little the park has changed on the right side of the highway. The kiddie section I think has one ride that is under 40 years of age and overall the only alterations on that side since I was a youngster (I turn 39 in August) was the removal of Zyklon and turning it into a Wild Mouse and the tragedy that was getting rid of Space Odyssey. Almost nothing else has changed. The go karts and mini golf where the water park is now were great. Wish they had a way to keep those while putting in a wave pool and a lazy river.
