We’ve had some maple leaf drop during the past few days. A bunch yesterday. not sure it is really unusual, but maybe a little early due to the lack of rain.

Sadly there is no current Lyme vaccine. There was one that was discontinued in the early 2000s due to the manufacturer citing low demand. A new one is in clinical trials I believe. kind of shocked how I’ve never knowingly had it. I’m in the woods a bunch.

Droughts in New England tend to be short lived. We will be complaining about excessive rainfall before long.

Car thermo hit 89 here in the Hubb but my home unit and a local PWS online only hit 86. muggy.

Hoping for at least a couple of more pool days. This upcoming week will drop the temps decently. Already down to 78F.
