62.75” season after yesterday’s 4.50” I also included an inch based on two small snowfalls last week that I can’t recall the dates of Yesterday’s was my best snow since mid January

A friend of mine who is part of Wachusett’s snowmaking crew was skinning yesterday. He said a decent number were there. 8 feet on some parts of some trails. Very skiable.

My son is home on spring break and is working 3-8 today.

Berkshire East was making snow last night/this morning. Great effort by them. I wish Wachusett had taken advantage of the cold nights/mornings

I did the snowfields back around 1992. Pretty neat stuff Meanwhile down here in Mass, we tried Wachusett this afternoon. Three runs and we bailed. Awful ice. They could have run the guns since Thursday night (and were posting they would on social) but nope. Pure porcelain. So we headed out

Local XC area near me (Windblown in New Ipswich NH) closing after this season. Very nice place with great owners. He has been running it for 50 years and wants to retire, his kids don’t want to run it.

At least it has gotten cold enough for snowmaking again at Wachusett. They have kept the trail count up most of the winter.

Halfway point of Met winter is Jan 15 We are five days into the second half if you want to end winter at the end of February. It never snows in March or April so we should be safe

Our son is working his last shift for a little while at Wachusett. He says he has never seen it so busy before. Nice bluebird day and 5.5” new in a long weekend -= ants

I’m almost at last season’s total. Could make it to average

3.0” yesterday. 43.55” season total. Prob average around 70-75 per year. Early December has been the key for me
