    My wife has a pretty compromised immune system so any illness (flu, stomach bug, etc) is always risky. She takes real good care of herself but the genes are what they are. We have to be cautious of things like this. China has done a good job of containment all things considered. They also have a huge population of smokers and that could affect numbers. be prepared. Don’t overreact. This is so much more fun to discuss than weather

    Local XC area near me (Windblown in New Ipswich NH) closing after this season. Very nice place with great owners. He has been running it for 50 years and wants to retire, his kids don’t want to run it.

    Is it too late to hand out the syllabus with the grading criteria for this course? A big chunk is seasonal snowfall Cold Pack depth Pack retention # of storms. Possibly number of warning events? Extra credit for things like thundersnow, WINDEX events, tornadoes, frost quakes weenie away

    I don't recall you (or hardly anyone) being so awful in really bad years... 2015-2016 was bad, 2011-2012 was awful. But people were ok about it. The whole world is feeling tension I think. Being upset about snow is illogical. I hope that this isn't misunderstood to mean I think you are being awful or whiny. My brain is a bit fried today and my wording seems off.

    I had two days in January where all I had was some piles and patches from 12/1. Im surprised that I have had snowcover for most of this winter considering the temps

    The last of the snow from the SWFE 2 weeks ago finally melted from the “house” part of my roof. Still a little on our screen porch roof. stuff in the yard is looking worse each day. I expect bare earth soon. what fun!!!
