  1. He wrote that in 20 minutes and did it for free. Same with the part from Back to the Future
  2. Tim Lefebvre Your sister would know him, or at least knew him back then Same grad class Wicked nice guy
  3. Pretty much. I’m on two albums with him from back in high school. Lol. High school jazz band and wind ensemble. Not quite the same. He has done well
  4. He was pretty groundbreaking. Dedicated. A friend of mine is a professional bass player who played on Bowie’s last album and has toured with some big names etc. he got to hang out with Eddie once and even he was starstruck.
  5. Of all the 2020 days, this one is up there with the shittiest. And it’s been shitty
  6. You could have been posting drought maps and let us down...
  7. Some low valley fog in the distance from the summit of Wachusett. Nice view of Monadnock today as well
  8. It was kinda strange how empty it was last night. Weather was good. Kind of cool but it is October. My son said Wachusett Mtn was empty last night as well. He is working there a bit
  9. Second wave starting in Mass? Two days in a row over 700 new cases
  10. I'm in that one! I jump right behind Scooter... back when I had hair
  11. Haverhill MA sees the moose in Scarborough and says... ”Hold my beer” https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/emu-spotted-roaming-around-haverhill/2204152/?amp
  12. My primary care physician is thinking this flu season might not be bad due to a larger than normal number of people getting vaccinated as well as mask use and distancing.
  13. My wife has a cardio-pulmonologist at a very large teaching hospital near us. He was also in charge of that facility’s Covid ward during the height and has already forgotten more about Covid than I will ever know. He has large concerns about long term effects on patients. So folks on here can pooh pooh that all they want. I know who I listen to.
  14. Bowdoin is an excellent school. Beautiful campus. Good connections with Bates and Colby
  15. One thing I loved about the old MPM thread was people on here were very good at ferreting out the good data from the garbagio. It was to me the best source to get studies etc. ah well
  16. An example... and I know Maine has different phases, etc... in Massachusetts should indoor venues for concerts be open? I would love to see a show live but would not personally go. So...let's say a venue has 1000 people in it, somewhat distanced, but in there for 2 hours watching a band. Having fun... 5 people catch the 'vid... spread it to folks at work...who spread it to the grandma they need to help care for... I dunno... I just have a bit of a break during work and was thinking about stuff. Gotta get back to it.
  17. Media has been doing this since...well...media has existed. Caveat emptor and all the rest... I try to get into the studies/journals I can understand. And first hand accounts if possible.
  18. Not trying to promote an agenda. Not dismissing it as the flu either
  19. Yeah. As I just said to Jeff, I should have worded it differently. Not sure if any numbers have been determined for affects beyond 90 or so days after being diagnosed. But signs seem to be pointing to that happening for many. https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/07/brain-fog-heart-damage-covid-19-s-lingering-problems-alarm-scientists
