  1. https://easternmassweather.blogspot.com/2020/08/hurricane-isaias-threatens-fl-and.html?m=1 Cat 2 near Carolinas! Well done
  2. Not a big run or anything exciting but getting first turns on Conifer at Wachusett with my wife in January on a Saturday morning.
  3. Won’t it lose steam interacting with the Carolinas?
  4. I’m not doubting what SkiVT read on that group. But if no one is actually doing anything and are just grousing about it in a closed group I would just ignore it. I’ve started to grow a thicker skin in large part due to social media. Keyboard heroes talk a big game online but hide when they see you in person.
  5. My advice would be to drop out of that particular FB group and pretend it doesn’t exist. If no one is saying anything untowardly to your face / in person and you don’t see it on social then does it really exist?
  6. I’m sitting in my daughter’s piano teacher’s house (well, outside). It is from 1762. Floorboards 18” wide. Giant hearth.
  7. Ginx was a frequent contributor there. Glad you found a new Pit1. Is it also a fixer upper?
  8. 82/62 here with a nice breeze. Dews were in the low 70s 7 hours ago.
  9. 353 new cases in MA reported today. 2.6% positive. Keeps going up. 7 day average up to 2.2%
  10. If anyone wants to join my GPS group for Wachusett passes, let me know. Saves a few bucks I can’t wait to ski.
  11. Nice dinner out in East Brookfield. First time eating out with the family since February
  12. If people would plant the mystery seeds they have been getting the aliens would come
  13. Daughter discovered a yellow jacket nest under our screen porch. Not what I wanted to be dealing with today
  14. A younger Ginxy? https://www.ecori.org/natural-resources/2020/7/30/wakefield-boy-finds-giant-quahog-in-secret-location
  15. Our son’s school contracted testing with the Broad Institute (one of my old customers). They plan on testing all staff and students twice a week for the first month, then once per week. They really seem to have done a good job with the safety end but our son feels the experience isn’t there this semester so will be doing remote (saving a ton of $$$ too)
