That was an awesome drive home. Got in the car in rain in Leominster. Quickly became cats paws then moderate snow as I went west on Rte 2. Winds picked up Some branch damage in Hubbardston due to ice. Lots of ice on trees coming down due to winds. Got a 0.1” of snow. Now at 50.00” for the season

Still can’t break 50” here. Just need a tenth. Lol

So far this has been underwhelming here. Around 0.75” total of snow, sleet, zr. Walkway is treacherous so I shoveled some of it. Roads are fine now compared to this morning.

For the average person, flat ice could make sense since it is what is on a walkway, stairs or a driveway. But raidal is important too since that is when trees and power lines come into play. Maybe report both if possible?

Ours uses the DPW and doesn’t really use a forecasting service. The DPW does though. Not sure who they use though.

The roads are a mess from what friends are telling me. Large area towns with long empty roads and small DPWs. Takes them a while to salt.

I questioned yesterday if anyone thought if some of the moisture would be robbed by convection to the south... that happened earlier in the season I think
