Beer burgers are good! Venison can be excellent. I’ve had bison, giraffe, ostrich, alligator, zebra, rabbit, duck, fermented shark(blah), the aforementioned bear, prob some others I can’t recall.

The warmth and sun are bringing large numbers of Asian lady beetles to the front of my house. We had thousands of them when we first bought our house in the late 1990s. They haven’t been as bad since but they are showing up today I hate them

Our oaks are further along than normal. Still plenty of leaves in the trees but all brown and a decent percentage down. stick season will be early here (a week or two ahead by my guess)
