  1. Yeah. I could see that in areas still digging out. I was referring more to Kevin’s mention of hill towns.
  2. Should talk of a possible threat next week go into the Morch thread?
  3. That's about what I am expecting here. No big deal, but any snow is good snow
  4. I wouldn’t call your forecast shitty. It was just a bit north of where the goods really happened. Don’t beat yourself up.
  5. Your neighborhood growing up took almost a week to get plowed in ‘78
  6. Yep. That was Clinch Leatherwood, aka Messenger and some other names doing checks of Phil’s reports. Pretty assholeish, god rest his soul.
  7. Any reports of coastal damage etc. I did see wind damage to power poles on ACK and random tree stuff.
  8. It’s been an amazing (and continuing) stretch. Very few warmups. Almost zero rain.
  9. I would still take 1978's storm over the incredible amounts from the 2015 blitz. 40-45" of snow in one storm vs 115" seasonal...I can't remember what I had before the blitz. Skiing in May at Wachusett was amazing... so it is close. That was epic but the power of 78 and the impacts it had on my life were higher. I do wish I had pics etc from that storm.
  10. 13.0" Hubbardston MA as near as I can guess
  11. For some reason my 4.0" from 2/20 is in there twice. So 78" seasonal That seems better
  12. 13 today - ish 82" for the season somehow? That seems high
  13. I'll put 13" for my total here. Seems in line with local obs and what I got for attempted measurements
  14. I love the day after Christmas. One of my favorite days of the year, an entire fridge stocked with cheese and wine and eggnog that didn't get finished
  15. I don't recall that winter very well. I think I as living in an apartment in Lowell at the time and remember having to constantly move my car so the landlord could plow the driveway... I think?
  16. Ok... and I though ineedsnow's ensemble images were hard to see
  17. It's still #2 for me... 1978 is still king, although my memories of that are fading
  18. I definitely feel that way at times. The build up is amazing... sometimes almost as good as the actual event. And then... withdrawal...
  19. I'm off again. Wife has a 2 hour delay, which I would have preferred.
