  1. I've noticed some seetling/sublimating (even a tiny bit of .... melting But still looks great after over a week.

  3. It was in my top 5 snow toal events in my life... but so few got to enjoy it and it was gone quickly
  4. We take scraps... WINDEX events can be fun for a bit. Not as good as a big, long duration event of course. Could cover up the dog poop for a bit
  5. The only meh thing I will say about MBY with regards to the cold is I haven’t had one of those uber cold rad nights we sometimes get. Like -15 to -20 or so.

  12. -2F for my daily low. Again, nothing earth shattering or unusual. Just the length of this cold spell. Impressive to me.
  13. I will still watch for a little clipper or two over the next week or so. Nothing big but maybe a net gain. As Scott said, the moderation in temps could help us.
  14. Regarding the loss of that fishing boat off of Gloucester…. It was reported today that one of the people on board was a young observer for the NOAA fisheries department. Our niece was doing that job last year (she only did it for a few months). Very dangerous stuff.

  17. A number of years ago (similar cold morning) I heard a bang from outside and our power went out. I went out with the dog to see what happened. There was a newly cooked squirrel at the bottom of a pole. The crew restored power in an hour or so (just had to flip a big breaker switch thing). The squirrel stayed there for a couple of days before something grabbed a frozen meal
