In a lot of cases, yeah. I think the only holiday that has been added is Juneteenth, which is at an annoying time of year, but it is what it is... Right now, my students have to come back for a half day on Monday the 22nd... ugh

They do towards the last week of June... unless it is too hot... or too smokey from wildfires... or it the day ends in a "y"...

Mixed bag. Snow to ice to plain rain Further north = more frozen. Further east = less frozen

She sent me some videos from during the storm last week (they got very little)... but everything was all frozen. For my middle school science classes, the next unit I teach uses maple sap as its opening phenomenon. So I will get to add her stuff to what I use

Our daughter is taking a seminar style class at her college about maple sugaring and its economic impact in S VT. They have their own sugarbush and evaporator shack. Pretty neat

NAM doesn't give us much plain rain here... same with some of the other mesos. Will be gross, but a net gain for a few hours before the warmth moves in. Probably 1-2 inches, spot 3 in central Mass

You might have had more snow from this event than in 78. Further north it was 1978 that was king

I have had constant snow on my roof since the January 26 storm. Not sure that has happened since I've lived here

I just paid to boost my Bronze level pass to what is essentially a Gold (really Silver) at the local bump. Wife already has a Silver so now we can see during the day on weekends for the remainer
