I had something weird happen to me last night. I run my school ski club. I basically sit in the Wachusett base lodge while the kids ski in case they need anything. So, time to leave. I had been sitting and standing inside for 4 hours. Go to walk to my car. Maybe 300 feet. And it was chilly…20F, but nothing bad When I got to my car, I had the worst case of shivering I can ever recall experiencing I could barely open the door to the car and start it It lasted around 3 or 4 minutes I almost called 911, then it went away

Yup. A typical cold spell we get every few years. Nothing crazy but noticeable.

The cold next week looks legit.

Something like 600 ski areas in New England have gone by the wayside. Love seeing the little ones that keep on chugging along.

Drove by Ski Ward, a tiny hill in Shrewsbury that a lot of kids learn at. Place looked packed. Great to see.

3.0” here. Overperformed a little. Expected 1-2”. Very wintry looking all day Still snowing
