LOL. Yeah my location a little west of NYC is always one of the warm spots. We hit 92 a little while ago. Have a good time in Piscataway tonight!

This is not correct. No other stations were 82. Sacrus posted the numbers.
It was a joke because Sundog can't handle it lol. Plenty of personal stations though were 82, but we throw those out.

Beautiful day. 84, Sun, and pool.
Trenton is usually hot, so it being 1 degree warmer than nyc, who cares? Plenty of stations all around today were 82.

Ding, ding....thermal lag
Main reason why met seasons don't line up as well here than actual seasons. Thermal lag.

Hit 90 before when the sun was out. 74 dew point, yuck
You hit 90? The warmest ambient station that I see in ou
r area is 87 (I'm discounting the 93 as that can't be correct).

From 109 to 88, this is why talking about temps 10 days out usually fails.
No different than long range cold in winter, except many more posters in here go 6 to 12 when they see heat.

Hey not only is the 6z Euro AI free (regular 6z Euro is locked on Pivotal and Tidbits takes forever) it also goes out to 360 hours. I don't know how I never noticed lol
Yeah, that is why I was confused a bit. I never noticed that either.

Looks like a 1 day reprieve then back to the heat
2 days, as it has lower 70s on Friday, then back to 90s for 2 days

Can you post a link?
It's on Pivotal, Euro-AIFS. Is that the Euro AI? It has 70s on its 06z run, but I'm not sure if that is the AI model?

I'm trying to remember all the most uncomfortable times my power went out. Number 1 would have to be August 2003 when we had that massive power outage that covered 1/3 of the country and eastern Canada. Our second longest power outage (behind the one that came with Sandy) at 13 hours. It was the hottest day of the entire summer (95 degrees) and no breeze even at night. I was too young to remember July 1977 but I think that would have been first if I had any memories of it outside of sitting in the dark with my family and hearing lots of sirens outside.
Next up would be a 4 hour power outage we had in January 2018 I think it was. I was getting ready to see a total lunar eclipse at 11:30 that night and it was brutally cold and very windy and the power went out right after sunset and it stayed out until 11 PM. The high winds did it and I was freezing for hours without power. The wind came right into my house.
Next on the list is November a few years ago (I forget the year), when we had 8 tornadoes in one day on Long Island. One of the tornadoes (an EF2) was close by-- I never saw it-- but had no power for 4 hours and was shivering all afternoon. The power came back around sunset.
Next would be Sandy in October 2012 which was our longest power outage (25 hours) I was shivering all night. The next day wasn't so bad without any power all day, because it came back around sunset.
Next is last August when I lost power for 4 hours again when it was sunny outside, no bad weather at all. It was in the low to mid 80s and with a light wind it felt hot without any a/c.
Next would be March 2018 my power went out for 2 hours during the first of four noreasters that month. It wasn't as bad as the other ones I listed because the power came back pretty quickly.
Pretty sure my power never went out because of heat, storms yes, that's why I got a generac. Can't have my basement flood again.
