    Roads in Copiague/Amityville/Massapequa area are a MESS. Sleeting now. Had snow and sleet mixed for a while there. .

    Just picked up with one last gust. That was a bit more fun. Some majorly reduced visibility on that one. Got a touch more on the lawn. .

    Petering out now. Was a bit fun. I just thought the use of the word whiteout may have been a bit dramatic. Wind swept moderate snow for about 10 minutes. Now flurries here in Copiague. ‘‘Twas fun, and all we are going to get for a while. But whiteout? Definitely not. .

    Normally 10 minute ride from Copiague Harbor to the Southern state took over half hour a while ago....NUTS.
