  1. Depending upon location, there is one. https://forecast.weather.gov/wwamap/wwatxtget.php?cwa=box&wwa=heat advisory
  2. So hot out that TAN ASOS must have melted offline.
  3. Says Florence, MA, so somewhere between Northhampton and Williamsburg. I've had a few Grimm Brews. Most stuff I'm buying is super fresh as they have huge turnover at the place I buy from. I've gotten to know them well over the last couple years. Nice symbiotic relationship.
  4. Yeah, I can see that. Hey, have you heard of Little Willow Brewing? Got my hands on a 4-pack the other day from my local Craft Beer Store. Good stuff and I love to promote the small brewers.
  5. Cape can be brutal for dews if your away from the seabreeze. We stayed a couple years down there in a house in Truro, No AC and the fans did little to help. House was in the 80s and dews in the 70s. Nothing better than sleeping in a pool of sweat.
  6. Makes me happy but we did just find out from a CEO of local Lumber Company that the price of I-joists is going up next week.
  7. We don’t live there. Dews in the 70s with temps in upper 80s. Forget the play’s, today was multi roll charmin day.
  8. I've seen those and nice to know.
  9. MEH. I had 3 Units set up that way for 15 years with no issues than or now.
  10. @Typhoon TipWe have the exact same window sill at home and when we had window units we would just sit the unit in the opening resting on that raised lip and the top sash would hold the unit in place. No screws, no blocking, just the weight of the unit pressing up against the top sash held it in.
  11. Many a scarab will eat your lawn roots. I loathe them.
  12. Already seeing the term Master Bedroom/Suite being frowned upon being used in my arena.
  13. Yep. And Scarab Beetles. Out of control. I’m pulling a dozen out of the pool skimmer every day as well as off the top of the water.
  14. Gotta survive todays clouds 1st. Heavy heavy fog this AM to the point where the trees were dripping.
  15. Lawn/Garden is on back-burner this year with all the work going on around the house. We're losing almost 1/2 of our lawn to the Addition/Pool/Patio so that's a plus. I hate cutting the lawn and it will be much more manageable. Going to look into adding a sprinkler system in the front next year to help with the dry periods. Going to be lots of landscaping to be done as well once everything done.
  16. Couple of Darwin winners right there. Idiots.
  17. I'd just leave the ones in the woods alone. Why bother messing with those. Only deal with the ones that could fall onto personal property and damage it.
  18. Hopefully we start seeing some more sun. Would like to use the pool some more. Have spent more time draining/maintaining it than I have using it. During the heat it had gotten up to the mid 80s, now it's barely cracking 70F.
  19. The worst. My daughter is still emotionally scarred from that experience and does not like thunderstorms anymore.
  20. Nope. June 28th-30th. Yesterday we were talking about the end of June heatwave. Did I miss a change of week discussion? Middle of week heat T-W.
  21. Got you one up. I got got in a T-Storm up on the Crawford Path above the Lakes of the Clouds Hut up on the Mount Washington Dome. Was with my dad and daughter at that time and it was the most terrifying experience. Literally no where to hide.
