This is the time of year to dethatch and core aerate you lawn. Also a good time to hit it with some fertilizer if growth has slowed with any summer heat. With these cooler days/nights it'll promote growth and green it back up.
I'll drain later today. Obviously it won't go any higher than the skimmer, so it's been poring out since that time This will be I think the 6th time since June that I've had to drain off water.
Just under 42" on my Davis since I got it up and running in late January. This long weekend may be a good time to see if I can get the hole dug and post placed for more permanent setup.
21z HRRR was nuts here. Shows 9" of rain to fall. The HRRR runs are getting more robust with rain rather than backing down.

I was taken by surprise on the start time. I thought it was supposed to hold off till after sunset today for my area. Started around 10am. Not much has fallen but it ruined a solid day of work for my GC.
