Earlier text from my daughter (in Greenville) from last winter...

My daughter down in Greenville has mentioned this same thing multiple times in the past few years that so I don't even include her in family snow texts anymore in the lead up to storms as she gets so discouraged.
Truth be told it's all going to depend on where the cyclogenesis sets up off of the coast along with where and how much the moisture draws. The $64,000 question.
I'm at my low now... 5.5 just north of Kernersville. We seem to always be in a cold swatch compared to personal weather stations outside our little area by 5-7°.
Daughter lives just outside of this but she's in section powered Lexington electric. She said her power goes out more often than Duke's so she's not optimistic.
