  1. Brand new construction. Strike started right during utility work. 176 Humboldt Ave. "If you have natural gas, there are gas-powered air conditioning units that use a no-compressor absorption process. These also heat your house in the winter. Another super-efficient gas central air conditioning and heating unit uses a compressor. With an equivalent SEER of 27, it can cut cooling costs by 75%."
  2. This weather sucks. National Grid strike means all of our buildings have no ac. So I'm in dress clothes showing units with interior Temps reaching 80-90F. Had to go home and shower today halfway through.
  3. I will say.. Look out to 495. Tons of surface based day time heating and a few more hours of sunlight. Line is definitely strengthening, not weakening.
  4. If you switch to tilt 2 at Box you can see a little boundary running Norwood to Chelsea. Love the meso stuff.
  5. That's interesting stuff for the berks but lack of mid level lapse rates don't give me much faith in late night boomers. No cold pool either. Not really an elevated setup.
  6. Ah that fizzled quick. I was hopeful something interesting might happen. Oh well
  7. Very gusty here. Absolutely torrential. Flash flood warning just went over the phone.
  8. Whatever is around Franklin is the only remotely interesting portion. It has the slightest bit of rotation. But watching it more for the wind.
  9. Decent non severe gusts with this burst. Nothing special.
  10. There is rotation SW of Franklin to keep an eye on. Really weak.
  11. Looks like the line is a really broad meso. Definitely a wind threat along the embedded bow
  12. I mean, if you discount the fact rotation is completely gone.
  13. Tornado threat looks to be diminishing unless it spins something back up at a different portion of the line which is really unlikely
  14. We've seen storms with near zero wind on base velocity be severe warned. Not sure why there isn't one emcompassing area surrounding the tornado warning. If that core collapses, could be a micro/macro burst somewhere.
  15. The tornadic part of the cell is definitely turning on a course that would bring it through northern suburbs of BOS. While city will likely see gusty winds.
  16. Appears it's transitioning to a straight line wind threat
  17. Building collapsed, people trapped, webster
  18. Tornado warning. And the line looks to actually be heading toward this general area. We've had sun all morning. Instability is there.
  19. Just left house and saw incredible stork structure north.. On my way to Portsmouth. Not sure I've ever had better luck than this. Accidental yet convenient chase.
