Looks like I might get in on these downpours as they lift north.

I would have expected a more wide-spread rain event today, given how thick and humid the air felt when I left Boston this morning. It's definitely steamy back in Simsbury now, too.

Storm just blew up close by here. Can hear it booming. Just a few miles away.

Shockingly enough, these storms are heading directly for me. With a ton of lightning too. We take.

I often think now about how little I knew about west of pike radar. It's sad

I see some kind of complex developing near Waterbury. Lightning also increasing there.

High beam there. I'm still trying to figure out that corner, and the middle of nowhere where Ginx lives.

Storms are definitely briefly intensifying. And I stress briefly.

Norfolk, Goshen, Cornwall getting a very solid storm. Watching Ansonia, Bethany, Shelton on the southern end.

Seeing some small cells try to flare up along the line, but there is no sustained organization

These storms are congealing but they all remain relatively Meh.

There might be a spin up over LI sound with that nonlinear cell ahead of the Eastchester Svr warned cell.

It's improving slightly. We might see a brief spin up. The explosion of lightning in that cell is a sign too.
