Nice write up Mag! Myself I am kind of worried that the Canadian high looks weak,appears to be tapping into leftover cold air. As usual not a whole lot of blocking.

To me it looks like GFS is under doing precipitation which isn't a bad thing. We are still in this Zonal flow with storms tracking west of us and usually not enough cold air in place = a sloppy mess. Hopefully things change... Mag thanks for taking the time to do that nice post!!

Getting some LES this morning. Looks like we might have picked up an inch. Getting around to go out and clean everything up, I will get a measurement. 2" yesterday, surprised how fast the warm air advanced yesterday even with all that cold air in place. Next weekends storm looks like it will start out as snow and change to rain. But we have a lot of time for lots of changes this week.

I think I will end up with 2”. Pingers and then turned back to snow. Moisture just seem to dry up...few dry slots.

My Verizon home internet has been down for 3 days. Suppose to be back up tomorrow morning. Local outage Not really able to follow this storM. Seems we’re in this pattern where we can’t keep cold air in place. Most of what the models show a week out I usually cut the total in half. To me seems like a more realistic number.

It was a weird weather day yesterday. Walking out side and have the warm hit you in the face just seemed weird. No ice on the river, people still fishing on the river. Talked to a guy and he said he caught a 40" musky yesterday. Turned the AC on in the bedroom last night. My wife said that seemed crazy but she wasn't complaining. I hope we don't get a mess like the GFS is showing. Sure makes snow removal on my lane tough. Picked up a coating overnight, grass is covered with snow but nothing stuck to the roadways. That was somewhat a surprise.

Looks like a repeat this Friday of yesterday. Then maybe a chance....If not next look 20th. Just no cold in place when we need it.
